Fire Detection & Alarm Systems
The primary standard governing the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of fire detection and alarm systems in buildings. All our fire alarm work is carried out in full compliance with BS 5839 Parts 1 and 6.

Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
The primary piece of fire safety legislation in England and Wales. Requires the 'responsible person' for any non-domestic premises to carry out and regularly review a fire risk assessment, and to implement appropriate fire safety measures.
Fire Safety Act 2021
Clarifies and extends the scope of the 2005 Order to include the structure, external walls, and flat entrance doors of multi-occupied residential buildings.
Building Safety Act 2022
Introduces a new regulatory framework for higher-risk buildings (18m+ or 7+ storeys), with enhanced requirements for fire and structural safety throughout the building lifecycle.
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order — Scotland
Scotland operates under the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005 and associated regulations, which impose similar duties on responsible persons to those in England and Wales.

Fire extinguishersCertification for portable fire extinguisher service providers. Confirms our engineers are competent to service, maintain, and install portable extinguishers to BS 5306.
NICEIC Approved
Electrical installationsElectrical competence certification relevant to our emergency lighting and fire alarm panel installation work. Ensures all electrical work meets current wiring regulations.
IFSM Member
Fire risk assessmentsInstitute of Fire Safety Managers membership. Our assessors hold IFSM-recognised qualifications, ensuring fire risk assessments are conducted by competent, independently verified professionals.
